Join us in celebrating the Summer Solstice with a transformative ritual and celebration to awaken the Sun within, bring forth our inner joy and deepen our connection with each other. The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year and is a time of abundant light, growth, fertility and potential. On this sacred day, we honour the Sun at its peak, embrace its vibrant energies and set powerful intentions for the summer months ahead. We also honour the Earth, which is abundant, vibrant, colourful and full of life thanks to the potent light of the Sun. On the Summer Solstice, or Midsummer, the community traditionally comes together to celebrate through song, dance and ceremony.

🌞 PROGRAMME 🌞

1) Introductions: Meet your facilitators and fellow participants.

2) Talk on the Meaning of the Summer Solstice: Learn about the significance of the summer solstice and why we celebrate this important time of the year.

3) Intentions Setting: Set your personal intentions for the day and for the new season by harnessing the energy of the solstice to manifest your desires.

4) Solstice Celebration: Take part in community dances and songs to connect with the energies of the Sun and Earth, bring forth your inner joy and deepen your connection with others.

5) Short Break: A break to enjoy herbal tea and snacks, and get to know your co-participants.

6) Shamanic Ritual: Participate in a powerful shamanic ritual to deepen your connection with this special day and the energies that surround it.

7) Closing with Group Meditation and Sharing: Conclude the event with a short group meditation to integrate your insights and a sharing session, where you will have the chance to share your experience and ask questions, if you wish to.

🌻 Participation fee: 44 euros. Prepayment is required to book your place at the event. Spots are limited to 15 people.

🌻 We will provide you with yoga mats and cushions. There will be herbal tea and healthy snacks to enjoy during the break.

🌻 The language of the event is English, but there can also be explanations in French if needed.

🌻 Dress Code (optional): wear yellow, orange or green – the vibrant colours of the summer solstice. You can also wear a flower crown, if you wish. In general, please wear comfortable clothes that allow movement.

ABOUT US

Alexandra Cacavas is an astrologer, esoteric facilitator and musician, with a formal background in translation and modern languages. Her purpose is to bring people together through mantra singing circles, astrology workshops, meditation sessions and other spiritual practices. She also gives 1:1 astrology consultations for personal and spiritual development. With roots from England and Greece, Alexandra was born and is based in Brussels.

Eirini Kapsidou was initiated into Siberian Shamanism 26 years ago and has been practicing the Shamanic journey since. Through her freelancing activity in Brussels, which goes by the name of Inspiring: Education & Coaching, she has been organising Shamanic rituals, drumming meditations, workshops and retreats since 2018, while also offering private coaching and other sessions. The focus of her Shamanic work is on awakening consciousness and embodying the creator we all carry inside. To this end, she utilises different kinds of artistic creation mainly through vocal expression, movement and rhythm.
